Imagei picked this bus up back in 2000 for my own stable. it sat around for about a year until i had time to dig in.
this one was an ugly mess. hippied out ,rusted out and just forgotten about for 25 some years. i had a vision!

at the time of resurrection, this had been the rustiest bus ive worked on until that Binz showed up.
i wanted to make this one a reliable ,fast and cool looking bus for myself.
in my opinion,mission accomplished.
it has been my daily driver(no kidding here, its my only driving vehicle besides my mountain bike) for just around 5 years now.it has been to california and back i think 3 times now ,well over 100k miles on it just by me.who knows how many before i owned it.
my goal for this bus ,bodywise, was to do the metal repairs and not do any bodywork. this way i could basically drive my work around. if anybody wanted to see what i do, just take a look at the bus. it is one of my early works and i have made changes in methods over the years, got proper tools to make the work better.so while im still happy with the outcome, there are some areas i prefer to do differently than what was done to this bus.
minimal pictures from back in the days before digital cameras were plentiful.
